While tuition and subsidy from the St. Gabriel parish are two major sources of funding for the school, fundraising is a vital and necessary activity to meet the school/parish budget. Additionally, these activities can help to build community and a sense of fellowship within our parish and school members. Without the income generated by these fundraisers, tuition would increase significantly. Each family is strongly encouraged to actively support fundraisers throughout the school year by means of time, talent, and/or treasure

• Parish & School Auction: The largest fundraiser held annually is the St. Gabriel Parish & School Auction. The event is held on the Saturday before Ash Wednesday on St. Gabriel grounds. There is an online silent auction, social hour, raffles, catered dinner, live auction, and more. There are many volunteer opportunities involved with this event and it is a great event to attend.
• Parish Cash Calendar Raffle: A fun raffle that supports the parish and lasts all year. Families are asked to sell 10 calendars, priced at $25 each. There are $6500 in cash prizes awarded weekly. Calendars are for sale in August and September.
• Catholic Schools Walk: An Archdiocese sponsored event that brings money directly to our school with a proportional match made by the Archdiocese. This event occurs in October.
• Read-A-Thon: Led by our HSA committee, pledges are collected from friends and family for students to read the most minutes in their grade or the entire school. Fun events are planned throughout the week and the students can win prizes based on their minutes read.
