Ms. Linda Schuh

School Secretary/Administrative Assistant

Email: lschuh@sgabriel.org

Greetings,

I am looking forward to my new position as the St. Gabriel’s School Secretary/Administrative Assistant and wanted to introduce myself. I appreciate the opportunity to work with the school staff and administration, parents, students and parishioners. It will be refreshing to work in an environment that promotes growth and learning while developing and demonstrating our spirituality and beliefs.

Just to let you know a little about me, I have worked a variety of positions including Staffing/Recruiting, HR-Payroll and Benefits Administrator, Claim Representative and most recently as a Compliance Analyst for an Insurance company. In addition, I have worked in school settings as a paraprofessional and voluntarily teaching elementary and middle school Religious Ed both at my former parish and at St. Gabriel’s.

My family and I relocated to Jackson around seven years ago, at which time we joined St. Gabriel’s Parish. My husband Tim and I met in college and will be married 32 years this September. We have three children: Josh 27, Sierra 24, and Erika 18 years old. Both Tim and I were raised in practicing Catholic families and we have raised our children that way as well.

We will officially become “empty nesters” this Fall when Erika leaves to attend the University of Madison. I’m assuming this will give us more time to enjoy our interests of which mine are arts and crafts, book club and reading, swimming and family vacations, especially during Summer which is my favorite season.

In conclusion, it is a pleasure and honor to be accepting this new position. I look forward to meeting and getting to know the school families and their exciting and energetic children in the coming months.

Regards,

Linda Schuh
