Get to know Mrs. Schmidt

My favorite thing about teaching second graders is their curiosity and drive to learn new information. The students enter second grade beginning to read chapter books and by the end of the year they are analyzing those chapter books and asking questions. 

I earned my education degree in 2019 from St. Norbert College. I taught at one other school before landing at St. Gabriel. I have taught here for the last 4 years and I cannot imagine teaching anywhere else. 

The students and families at St. Gabriel are so wonderful to work with and are always very supportive. This is a community where everyone feels welcome and I am blessed to teach all these wonderful students.
